at the end of The Blackout’s set on Sunday they had someone throw them up a rugby ball and the Welsh National anthem came on over the speakers. People went nuts booing them and telling them to go and kill themselves etc. I thought it was the funniest thing ever.

Issue 1 of Point Of View, the zine I did with the wonderful Danielle Parsons (http://dressingcold.tumblr.com) is available now!

Danielle is based in Philadelphia and I am based in Dublin. I wanted to do a zine based on our similarities and differences, both coming from our love of photography and the hardcore punk scenes in both of our cities. We’ve spent many a long night emailing and skyping over this thing and I am so happy we got it done.

It’s about 30 pages and in full colour. It’s got interviews with Back to Back records and Bang Bros and then a bunch of pictures of some great bands (Balance and Composure, Basement, Title Fight) and some other things from our day to day lives.

This weekend I’ll have it available at Life and Death Fest, the rest will go up online during the week.
