2011 was weird. i shot some cool bands, shot the Basement record cover with Alex, took part in my first exhibition and put out my first photo zine.

Issue 1 of Point Of View, the zine I did with the wonderful Danielle Parsons (http://dressingcold.tumblr.com) is available now!

Danielle is based in Philadelphia and I am based in Dublin. I wanted to do a zine based on our similarities and differences, both coming from our love of photography and the hardcore punk scenes in both of our cities. We’ve spent many a long night emailing and skyping over this thing and I am so happy we got it done.

It’s about 30 pages and in full colour. It’s got interviews with Back to Back records and Bang Bros and then a bunch of pictures of some great bands (Balance and Composure, Basement, Title Fight) and some other things from our day to day lives.

This weekend I’ll have it available at Life and Death Fest, the rest will go up online during the week.

I’m almost done putting this together. Me and Babii Danii (http://dressingcold.tumblr.com) have been putting our pictures together all week and now we finally got them all.

it’s got heaps of great pictures by Danielle of bands like Balance and Composure, Title Fight and Tigers Jaw. I got some Basement, Frustration and Bang Bros pictures in it. I’m excited to get it done.
